Health & Safety Considerations regarding COVID-19

  • Blue Star’s 75th Anniversary Alumni + Family Camp will be operating in compliance with the health and safety guidelines provided to us by our long-time medical team as well as the CDC, NCDHHS, AAP and the American Camp Association. Should we not be able to operate, we will communicate with you in real time and full refunds will be issued.
  • Covid-19 vaccinations (by current CDC definition of fully vaccinated at the time) will be required to attend Family Camp for those who are eligible. We will share any updates to vaccine/screening requirements for children who are not yet eligible to be vaccinated. Having our entire community vaccinated against Covid-19 will allow for the 75th celebration weekend to run as safely as possible.
  • Be prepared for pre-camp Covid-19 screenings! More information will follow in the weeks leading up to the start of Family Camp.
  • We will continue to monitor the fluid state of the pandemic to adapt any policies and procedures as needed.
