Health & Safety Considerations regarding COVID-19

  • We strongly recommend that each participant takes a Covid-19 test for active infection within the week preceding the start of your session. Information about testing options will be communicated in a separate email with additional details about pre-camp preparations for Catskills @ Camp Blue Star.
  • In the two weeks prior to the start of your session, daily health screenings and temperature checks are required.
  • If anyone in your family is displaying symptoms of illness within the two weeks preceding the start of your session, it may be necessary for your family to refrain from attending your scheduled session.

  • Please continue to do daily temperature checks as well as personal health screenings for each member of your family daily while at camp.
  • Hand washing, Hand Sanitizing and Mask Use will be utilized regularly throughout your scheduled session. Masks should be worn in indoor spaces and when in the company of other participants or Blue Star staff.
  • Social distancing practices will be determined by individual families and will be based on your own comfort levels.
